Class 1 — explosive/high-risk objects; class 2 — large public/production buildings; class 3 — ordinary buildings. Chosen by calculated annual lightning strikes.
Class 1: mesh 5×5 m, down conductors every 12 m; class 2: 10×10 m / 18 m; class 3: 20×20 m / 25 m. Metal roof elements ≥ 0.5 mm usable as natural terminals.
Min 2 per perimeter; steel ≥ 50 mm², copper ≥ 16 mm²; bends ≥ 10×diameter; welded or clamp joints.
Common building earth system preferred; resistance by calculation (typically ≤ 10 Ω combined).
Type 1 (10/350 µs) at the intake for classes 1–2; type 2 (8/20 µs) in main panels; bonding of all incoming services.
Automatic single-line diagrams, PUE/GOST/IEC calculations, specification and PDF — from one model.
