PUE and IEC 60364 are close (PUE-7 harmonized), but differ: voltage drop, mandatory verification, bathroom zones, EU national codes.
| Parameter | Side 1 | Side 2 |
|---|---|---|
PUE-7 (since 2002) was developed with IEC 60364 in mind; GOST R 50571 is the Russian adoption of IEC. Same earthing classification, 30 mA RCDs, bathroom zones.
IEC: 4% lighting / 8% others (525); UK stricter (3/5%). PUE: by calculation; SP 256: 5/8%.
IEC 60364-6: initial + periodic checks (homes every 10 years in the UK). Russia: acceptance testing (1.8), no mandatory periodic checks for private housing.
HD 60364 + national: BS 7671, DIN VDE 0100, NF C 15-100, PN-HD 60364. Differences: sockets (type G), voltage drop, inspection periods.
