The engineer makes decisions. AI checks, calculates, searches, explains.
What AI does
- Checks standards: is cable cross-section adequate, are breakers correctly selected, is selectivity maintained
- Explains calculations: why this cross-section was chosen, how S/C current was calculated
- Searches objects: "find all ungrounded outlets in the bedroom" — semantic search
- Gives recommendations: "use Type A RCD for this group due to washing machine"
What AI does NOT do
- Does not make engineering decisions for you
- Does not sign the project
- Does not replace expert review
- Does not require internet — works locally
